AOAO is working closely with the Southern Nevada Health District and the Red Rock Casino Resort and Spa to ensure the health and safety of our members and guests at the Annual Spring Meeting, April 22-25. Health and government authorities have not issued any domestic travel notices, precautions, or guidance specific to United States domestic travel. According to the Health District, Southern Nevada and its resort properties have not been identified as being at higher risk for disease transmission, and people who have not traveled to an area where the virus is active or had close contact with a person who has tested positive for the virus continue to be at low risk for infection.
We have not received any cancellations from exhibitors and our attendee registrations continue to pace with the normal patterns we see each year.
The health, safety and well-being of the AOAO members, exhibitors and guests is our highest priority. Any members with comorbid or immune compromised conditions are encouraged not to travel during the flu season. All travelers should use caution and practice safe hygiene.
