BROCK BROWNING

Professional Designation(s)/Title: Medical Student

How long have you been a member of AOAO?
3 months

Why did you join AOAO?

I am interested in becoming an orthopedic surgeon so this seemed like a good place to start. The president of our schools orthopedic club said that this was good to join. I've heard from many students and doctors that big part of getting accepted to an orthopedic program is networking and getting to know as many people as possible. This seems like a really great place to meet other students interested in orthopedic surgery as well as doctors that could be really good to have in my corner come application time.

Short Biography

I grew up living all over the country. I've lived in Utah, Oregon, South Carolina, Louisiana, and now in North Carolina. I served a 2 year proselyting mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I majored in kinesiology at Utah Valley University, graduating in the spring of 2019. I am currently a 1st year student at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. I married my high school sweet heart in 2015 and we are currently expecting our first child this July.
